Yonder

This project came about during my work at Slidebuilder B.V.

For Yonder I developed a slide deck. My role as visual designer within Slidebuilder involves developing user-friendly templates for various clients. Besides developing the slides, I run the entire project: from customer contact and discussing schedules to elaboration.

Assignment

Yonder launched a new brand identity and also wanted to infuse it into a professional and consistent PowerPoint template. My assignment was to translate the corporate identity into a complete template set and slide library. In consultation with the team, we determined which slides should have fixed content and which, on the contrary, should remain flexibly editable. It was important that all slides be user-friendly, so that employees themselves could easily create presentations within the corporate identity.

My approach

For Yonder, I developed design proposals that made the most of the new, playful and colorful brand identity. Because the corporate identity was still new, we experimented a lot and made choices to use illustrations, animations and visual elements effectively without disrupting the information delivery. The recognizable colorful stripes, symbolic of steps in education, appear subtly on every slide and are enhanced with animations for added impact. The result is a consistent, visually appealing and user-friendly template set and slide library in which fixed and flexible slides complement each other. Thanks to the great communication and close collaboration, despite a tight deadline, we delivered a presentation solution that fully aligns with the brand identity and with which Yonder is very pleased.
