With Daan at the events
Daan has participated in various events for a long time, ranging from the healthcare sector to the social domain and education. Our event booth has remained unchanged all these years, and it's high time for a fresh update. The event manager has therefore assigned me the task of developing a new concept for our booth, which will then be realized in collaboration with an event partner.
De huidige status
The main goal is to showcase our professionalism and make it clear that Daan is a premium brand. The photos below show our current event booth, which looks rather improvised and was also built by ourselves. We aim to change this and establish a partnership with a company that can realize and set up our booths. That’s why I thought it would be a good idea to start completely from scratch.

After a brainstorming session with my colleague, we developed a clear vision for the updated look: we want to emphasize the orange color as much as possible, apply organic shapes, add green plants to make the space feel more homely, and create space for merchandise. Daan participates in various events, and to stay as eco-friendly as possible, we aim to create a modular booth. This way, the booth can be used at any event, and the setup can always feel fresh and innovative.

First design

All the mockups were created in Blender. I found it essential to first create a solid foundation. This included designing a central cabinet/bar combination in the middle of the event booth. This concept is often seen at various events and provides our staff with a place to stand behind and store all the necessary items. The bar also serves as a showcase for all our merchandise.

The addition of wooden panels provides a nice contrast with the orange and enhances the overall appearance. These panels are a consistent feature in every Daan office and help create a homely atmosphere.

Second design
To attract more visitors, I developed the second proposal. This design offers more space for movement, making it easier for advisors and visitors to communicate and interact. The bar now has an organic shape and is decorated with a few plants. The idea is that the bar can be split into three separate sections, allowing for flexible reconfiguration each time. Additionally, wooden benches have been integrated, which we call the "interview benches." These benches are a recognizable feature in our Daan offices, and they provide visitors with the opportunity to engage in conversation with our advisors.
