Vreugdenhil
This project was carried out during my time at Slidebuilder B.V.
For Vreugdenhil, I collaborated with my colleague (Visual Designer) to develop a template set and slide library.
My role as a Visual Designer at Slidebuilder B.V. involves creating user-friendly templates for various clients. Users have access to the template set and slide library, allowing them to create their own presentations while maintaining brand consistency.

In addition to designing the slides, I played a major role in this project: I handled all communication with the client and was responsible for the entire planning process. I managed the project independently from start to finish, with my colleague (Customer Success Manager) taking care of the final delivery.

Assignment
Vreugdenhil had been facing the challenge of employees creating their own presentations, which led to inconsistencies in brand identity. They were looking for a solution that would allow employees to easily create presentations that always adhere to brand guidelines.

During a meeting with the communications officer, it became clear that we would completely rebuild their current template and slides. The goal was to develop a fresh, modern style and to add new slides that offer greater flexibility and ease of use.
My approach
My colleague provided support throughout the project. After I created a design, he gave feedback, and then we divided the slides between us. To ensure consistency, we held a check-in every two days to make sure we stayed aligned.

User friendly
Vreugdenhil’s main requirements were user-friendliness and strong brand recognition. Some slides needed to be completely “ready-made,” while others had to remain flexible and easily customizable.
-
Inspiration from the website: Vreugdenhil’s website gave us a clear sense of how their style and design elements are applied, which served as a key source of inspiration.
-
Elements from the brand mark: We incorporated elements from the brand mark in various ways throughout the template, ensuring the visual identity was subtly and consistently reflected.
-
Dynamic compositions: We developed a base layout with multiple variations. This provides visual variety and gives the design a dynamic look and feel.
-
Animations: To break up the static nature of some slides, we added playful animations that bring extra life to the presentation.
The result
The end result is a modern and user-friendly template set and slide library.
The communications officer was pleasantly surprised and mentioned that we not only met their expectations but even exceeded them.
