Infosupport

This project was carried out during my time at Slidebuilder B.V.
For Infosupport, I developed a demo. My role as a Visual Designer at Slidebuilder B.V. involves creating user-friendly templates for various clients. For this project, I designed a small number of slides in the Infosupport brand style.

In addition to designing the slides, I play a major role in the project: I manage all communication with the client and am responsible for the full planning. I execute the project entirely independently, with my colleague (Customer Success Manager) handling the final delivery.

The assignment

Infosupport has its own template set. During the meeting, it became clear that they wanted to elevate their current template set to the next level. For this project, I developed a demo consisting of a limited number of slides. All slides needed to be user-friendly, allowing users to independently enhance and customize their presentations as needed.

My approach

For this project, I drew inspiration from the existing template and Infosupport’s brand style. The brand style is sleek and clean, with heavy use of triangular patterns that frequently appear in their media materials.

During the first round of feedback, it became clear that Infosupport was not fully satisfied with the demo:

  • Too busy slides: Some slides contained too many visual elements.

  • Lack of ‘wow’ effect: Other slides lacked dynamism and animations.

It was clear that Infosupport was still exploring their desired style. Instead of going back to the drawing board immediately, I scheduled an evaluation session to collaboratively find a solution. During the meeting, I shared several examples, and together we created an inspiration document with visual elements that aligned with their wishes.

The design

With the received feedback and the inspiration document, I got to work. My goal was to find the perfect balance between visual appeal and user-friendliness.

  • Loosening up fixed elements: I slightly loosened the brand elements, such as the triangular patterns, and focused more on the use of images.

  • Enhancing visual depth: By using layers, I created more depth within the slides.

  • Adding dynamism with animations: I added animations to every slide. On the diagram slides, I gave certain elements a repeating animation, which brought the presentation to life and made it more engaging.

The result
Infosupport was very satisfied with the final outcome. The slides fully met their expectations and provided the right balance of visual impact and ease of use. The collaboration was experienced positively, and the demo gave Infosupport exactly the desired look and feel.
